Battlefield 2042: PC requirements for the playtest in the coming week revealed

Electronic Arts has revealed the system requirements for the Technical Playtest of the Shooter Battlefield 2042 (from 53.99 € for pre-order). As Videogameschronicle.com reports, six test run sessions should be scheduled between Thursday, 12th and Sunday, August 15th. Five of them take three hours each, another nine hours.

The magazine refers to invitations of EA. The originally planned test runs were actually planned in July, but were postponed so that DICE was previously tested the crossSplay functionality. Access first get "a few thousand participants" before finally starting an open beta during the september.

Battlefield 2042 can be pre-ordered and is available in retail and digital providers from October 22 for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC, Xbox Series X and S and PlayStation 5.
