WoW: 16 Jahre Race to World First

Thanks to the many adaptations and the help cry for US AllianceGildens, the fractional weight in WOW is again on everyone s lips. Today we do not want to look at the large and wide mass of the players in Wow, but the absolute world top. There has also been dominating the Horde for years - the last victory of an Allianz guild is almost ten years ago. But did the red faction dominated the world s top or the blue banner rolled earlier often?

16 years WOW - 2 ½ World First Kills

If you go through the story, then you quickly realize that the World First in the end bosses of a respective RAID has been clearly in the hand of the Horde since Classic. In the 16 years Wow only three end bosses have been defeated by an Alliance Guild first - and at least two of them should not necessarily be full - which is why we rather come out at 2 1/2 than at 3. Nefarian was one of only three bosses in Wow, which could be defeated by the Alliance first. Source: Blizzard

The last World First of an endboss was Kin Raiders when madness of death swinge in the Dragon Soul. That RAID, in which a large part of all top guilds were banned by Blizzard, because they had previously exploited a bug in the LFR Loosystem. Without this spell, most of them are safe, this kill would have went to the Horde. The Second World First Kill of the Alliance was Halion . Ha-who? Exactly, this funny dragon, who was patched in the game at the end of Wotlk, because the upcoming extension lasted longer. No relevant Loot, no reason to kill - no real World First Race. Premonition got the First Kill without real competition. The first and probably the only World First Kill, which one can be clipped and clearly attributed to the Allianz Klipp and Clear Nefarian in Pechschwingenhort. There, the US guild drama could triumpur after many weeks of progress and reach the World First.

Early bosses? Earlier an alliance thing

In the early days of WOW (Buy Now 14.99 €) but the Alliance has brought a whole series of World First Kills - albeit only with the early bosses of a Raid. Let s look at Classic (ie the true Classic and not recently warmed WoW Classic), then the Horde only got 7 First Kills - 4 of which were the respective end bosses of the RAIDS. The Alliance collected 36! First kills - but one was a final boss. In the temple of Ahn qiraj and Naxxramas, the Alliance took the First Kills at all bosses - except the two endbases.

The Horde comes!

Over the past few years and extensions, the picture continued to move on. The Alliance could keep up well with the former bosses and in total fetched more First Kills. But when it went to the hard chunks, the Horde was always better. The further we work through the extensions, the rarer were these alliance kills. Until the imbalance in Mists of Pandaria reached the climax and all! 43 First kills went to the Horde account. Of course, that was largely because both the leading EU guild (Method) and the strongest US guild (Blood Legion) wore the red banner. In Mistt s Pandaria, Method dominated the World First Race. Source: Methodwow.com In the following enhancements, the Alliance could get in the form of the Midwinter a few early bosses, but a real role did not play the blue faction from this point on. The last alliance-first-kill of any bosses dated on January 24, 2017, when SNF could surround the first three bosses in the night fortress before the Horde counterparties for their part return only minutes later.

No First Kills, not even more top 10

It s already over four years that the Alliance has defeated any boss first. But at least they were still a serious counterparty, right? Anyone who does not work on the ground at this question, has not made much of the World First Races in recent years. Not only that in the TOP100 barely alliance guilds occur, even in the TOP10 there has long been no more.

The last alliance guild, which could take a place among the first ten, was Club Camel in the two-boss raid crucible of storms. In a real raid it was prestige gaming in the battle around Dazar Alor. Incidentally, both guilds play on the side of the Horde - which else.

In the Sanctum of Rule, the strongest alliance guilds Honestly were ranked 17 and Copium in Rank 20 - both from the Oceanic region, where the Alliance is actually much more represented than the Horde.

What do you think - Will the Alliance get a World First Kill someday? Or are we seen the faction boundaries collapse as many ways for the upcoming extension?
